To achieve the highest standards of safety support, full compliance with CDM regulations and all other relevant safety and health law related to the project, we will provide the following services as part of our principal designer role;
Pre-Construction Phase
Complete the PCI on behalf of the client
Submit the F10 on behalf of the client.
Attend preconstruction Meetings to provide feedback related to design to ensure full CDM compliance.
Carry out a prestart meeting on site to ensure full CDM compliance
Provide Safety and CDM advice to the client and design team as required.
Review plans and provide a CDM report.
Assist the design team in producing a design risk register for the client and PC.
Liaise with all parties regarding CDM and compliance updates.
Comment and assist on CDM compliance issues and safety issues throughout the project.
Advice the client on the suitability of the construction Phase plan
Construction Phase
Liaise with the PC on CDM compliance on site.
Comment on design changes to ensure compliance with CDM.
Attend progress meetings.
Complete a bi-monthly on-site visit to report of CDM compliance. Produce a report for the client.
Structure, format and assist in collation of the Health & Safety alongside the PC.
Provide Safety advice to the client and PC if required to ensure the project succeeds.
Handover
Assist in the completion of the Health & Safety and ensure it is handed over to the client
